Subject: Drummer/Percussionist required for 1998 concert

Date: Mon, 10 Nov 1997 02:35:34 +0000

Greetings all Jarre fans,

In 1998 there will be a large International Convention in Birmingham, England. Part of this event will be a *live* concert of Jarre music. I am now looking for a drummer to perform on the day.

The role will involve rehearsals every month and obviously an interest in Jarre music is very helpful, but not essential. You will need to have access to a kit of your own and it would be advantageous if you lived in the U.K. as rehearsals are held in Birmingham, England.

This really is an excellent opportunity for Jarre fans to be a part of a spectacular event, and chances like this are few and far between.

If you feel that you fit the role please feel free to contact me personally at jarrecon@jarre.force9.co.uk, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

The first meeting of the JarreCon '98 team took place yesterday, and many aspects of the day were discussed. A new part of the logo for the day is included above, and on the front page. The three 'crescent moon' shapes signify the letter 'J' in Braille (the font used for blind people) - and is planned to be used in all aspects of event promotion along with the logo.
