Hi
i also grew with Jarre's music. I'm trying to to get to know his e-mail, is that possible anyway?
Alright!...
I finally found one of webpages dedicated to the greatest
musician of my youth 70's and 80's.
Some people had "Billy Idol", others "AC*DC"... and i had
Jean Michel Jarre.
You see I am not a full-blooded Canadian (although it might
sound like it), me and my family are from Poland.
As I recall ...one of those days in the early 80's...:
I was upstairs in my parents dinning room (?), and i had
one of those really cheap small (on batteries;one speaker)
portable AM-radios with me.
Then i heard something (bla...bla...bla...), and this
wicked (synthesizer) music started pouring out, and it
totally got stuck in my mind (memories...?), so me being a
kid, opened the window on our town's main street (road), and
then everybody walking by heard this excellent music coming
out from this shitty - quality, little black radio...
Anyway, close to a decade now, i am becoming a "Canadian
Borg", went through 4 synthtesizers, presently owning a
Korg 01/Wfd, and still going to GMCC college (wasted a
couple of years), but Jarre's music is still (#1) my
favorite.
I was even thinking of sending (to Mr.Jarre) a couple of CD
albums that i made myself (has a cd-burner) so i wouldn't
mine getting his address - if possible. I am not sure if
this is "The right web page" for this, but then nobody that
I know has died from asking...
Hello. I would like to remind everybody about the international JMJ tribute album which is being made now. More than 50 fans from 16 countries all over the world are making 175 Jarre songs for the tribute. Surf to www.jmjfkn.com/tribute/ for details and joining the mailing list.
Glenn <glenn@jmjfkn.com>Just to say I really enjoyed JarreCon '98 on sunday. A chance to get some great merchandise and meet like-minded fans. By the way, just watched the video of 'Electronic Night', and at the risk of being stoned to death, I have to say I enjoyed it a lot !
Paul Kerrigan <paul@paulkerrigan.demon.co.uk>Thanks for a great day! An excellent meeting! Looking forward to the next one! :-)
Thanks for a great day! It gave me an opportunity to purchase
a few items in the auction and others on display at dealer
stalls - that I'd been looking for.
Look forward to the next event !
